De beste Europese smartphone van 2010-2011, dat is de Samsung Galaxy S. Althans volgens de European Image and Sound Association. Het lijkt ons wat vroeg om nu al een beste smartphone te kiezen voor 2010-2011 maar de Samsung Galaxy S heeft ons wel een hoop te bieden. Het toestel is een Android-krachtpatser met onder andere een 4.0 inch Super AMOLED-beeldscherm, 1 GHz processor en 5.0 megapixel camera die ook in 720p video op kan nemen.

Vandaag houdt Apple's slechtst bewaarde geheim ons in z'n greep. Nee, geen flauwe tekstuele verwijzingen naar 'deathgrip'. Een mobiele telefoon dat even populair is als berucht. Zelfs nog voor z'n offici�le aankondiging. We hebben het natuurlijk over de enige echte Apple iPhone 4. Een telefoon die als geen ander emoties los maakt, zowel positief als negatief. Hij hoeft alleen maar z'n gezicht te laten zien. Wij gaan voor je verder kijken.

'Klein maar fijn' is een alom bekende en gevleugelde uitspraak. Ook de makers van BlackBerry proberen daar al langere tijd invulling aan te geven. Tot nu toe slaagden ze daar heel aardig in, en ze komen nu met een compleet nieuwe versie van de Pearl. De door ons geteste Pearl 3G 9105 is de eerste BlackBerry met een numeriek toetsenbord. Hij heeft ook nog een tweelingbroertje met exact dezelfde specificaties, maar in plaats van het numerieke toetsenbord heeft dat toestel een SureType-toetsenbord met 20 toetsen.

De HTC HD Mini is ��n van de kleinste smartphones van de Taiwanese fabrikant. Het toestel draait op Windows Mobile 6.5, met daar bovenop HTC's eigen Sense-interface. De HD Mini heeft een 3.2 inch TFT capacitief touchscreen, een Qualcomm MSM7227 600MHz processor en een 5 Megapixel camera.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro review

Sony Ericsson heeft haar Vivaz een fysiek QWERTY-toetsenbord gegeven en de camera teruggebracht van 8.1 Megapixel naar 5.1 Megapixel en het vervolgens ontstane toestel de Vivaz Pro genoemd. Verder lijken er op het eerste gezicht geen andere ingrijpende wijzigingen te hebben plaatsgevonden. Ook in de specificatielijst kunnen we weinig ontdekken. Die specificatielijst is redelijk veelbelovend. Uit onze review van de Vivaz kwamen een aantal punten naar voren die de moeite waard zijn. We zijn dan ook benieuwd hoe de Vivaz Pro zich houdt.
