"Microsoft announces Windows Phone 8 at MWC in Barcelona"

According to blogger Mary-Jo Foley, we will hear more of Windows Phone 8 at the MWC in Barcelona, 8is the presumed version number of Windows Phone 8.

Although Microsoft wil come with the Tango update before Apollo, the company has some information abot Windows Phone 8 at MWC, says Foley. On a previously leaked roadmap, it became clear that the version "Tango" can be seen as an intermediate version, which makes Microsoft's mobile operating system more suitable for devices with limited specs. The real innovation comes with Windows Phone Apollo.


This version will make Windows Phone more suitable for the real supersmartphones. The kernel of the OS is said to be the same as that of Windows 8, the tablet and desktop version of Windows. It is therefore expected for Microsoft to move the Windows Phone version number to 8.
