Samsung to launch new Galaxy S?

It seems like Samsung will soon announce a successor to the Galaxy S, that probably will be named Galaxy S 2. The handset is said to be powered by a dualcore processor.

After te advent of the LG Optimus 2X, a smartphone with a dual core processor, pressure is on its competitors to come up with a quicker phone as well. Multiple brands are working on faster phone, and Samsung has to do its part as well. Rumour has that the Galaxy S2 will be presented on the MWC in Barcelona, which is to be held in February.

De Galaxy S2 will, just like some phones for the American market that were presented last week, have a Super AMOLED Plus screen. Samsungs display technique was applauded before, and now gets a successor that has to make the screen even clearer and make the black on the screen even blacker.
