Samsung launches Galaxy Ace

The Samsung Galaxy S is about to get a little brother, Galaxy Ace. Pictures of that handset have been leaked before. After that, the Indonesian website of Samsung published the handset.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace comes with an AMOLED screen that measures 3.5 inch and has a 320 x 480 pixels resolution. Compared to the 4 inches off the Galaxy S, that may be small. However, it is of the same size as the screen of the iPhone 4, but with a lower resolution. The Galaxy Ace will be delivered with Android 2.2 Froyo.


Under the hood, we find a 800 Mhz processor, made by Qualcomm. For now it remains unknown which countries will see the Galaxy Ace, which comes under the type S5830, in their stores.
