MWC 2010: Sony Ericsson announces 2 new versions of the X10


This year Sony Ericsson bets on her new Xperia X10. That's why they have announced two new versions next to the existing X10; the X10 mini and the X10 mini pro with complete keyboard!

The X10 mini, which we have spotted and predicted before this event, is smaller than a credit card. Thanks to the Timescape technique, it offers a smart and unique intuitive userinterface. That is according to the Sony Ericsson press-release.

Both the new Xperia X10 mini and the X10 mini pro are two new powerful mobile phones which complement the already existing Xperia X10. Both devices run on Android, version 1.6. On top of that runs a Sony Ericsson husk; the UX platform. It can be adapted according to own wishes and aims mainly at entertainment. If the standard list of applications is not enough, there's always the Android platorm.

Timescape

Both the X10 mini and the mini pro have Timescape, developed by Sony Ericsson. Information from Facebook, Twitter, but also missed calls and incoming textmessages are grouped in one place. the music player also has a handy function; de infinite-key. With this key, music content from the music store and YouTube are connected and provides easy and smart access to new songs by your favorite artist.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini and the X10 mini pro will be available in stores as of Q2. The X10 mini is available in 'Pearl White', Black, Pink, Lime, Red and Silver. The X10 mini pro only in Black en Red. Prices not yet announced.
