A look at some of the newest devices around
In the current time of holidays, little news and less rumours it is a good idea to look at some new devices introduced the past few months and available on the market already or in the upcoming weeks.
Within this comparison several new devices are introduced to you. These are available on the market now for some time or will be shown in the upcoming weeks. Next to a picture of the device there will be short story about the device and a link the phone page containing information about specifications, but also pictures and videos made of and shot by the corresponding device.

LG KG920
One of the most special devices currently on the market. The LG KG920 is the first mobile phone within the European region with a build-in 5.0 Mpixel camera with xenon flash and video possibilities. The device is a complete camera which can take pictures and videos of superb quality. The complete setup is build-in a cover that can be rotated. It will create the opportunity to shoot pictures and videos under several angles.
The KG920 is available on the market in several countries. The package delivered with the phone contains a desk charger, data cable, memory card, user manual and headset. The stereo headset has a remote control and the possibility to connect other 3rd party headsets.
The new LG shows what LG is capable off currently and offer multiple opportunities for the trained camera user. The camera is rather slow, but with the correct handling you can use the device without any problems.

Nokia E70
The E-series are one of the most elaborated devices of the current time. The possibilities and quality of the devices within this series shows what a phone really can offer! The E70 is no expectation and offers all that is needed nowadays. For enterprise or for messaging purposes, the E70 is your device at any moment in time and during any task.
The device that is build in the 2-in-1 concept can be used in two ways which gives you the freedom to use the device in any way at any time. Options as the 2.0 Mpixel camera, Bluetooth, infrared port and Wifi should not be forgotten and make the device complete.
Issues like the weak agenda, notes list and the absence of the black version of the E70 in several countries are some Nokia should look at! These should be addressed more in the future.

Samsung X820
The slimmest device ever made! That is all you need to say about the new X820. Samsung shows what it can do with their new Ultra Slim Edition on items like looks, design and shape.
The devices are also equipped with really good features, such as a 2.0 Mpixel camera, Bluetooth and 80 MB of internal memory in the X820. Also stereo audio via Bluetooth is available. You can use this feature to listen music via a wireless stereo Bluetooth headset. Something which is the future and already available on a large number of Samsung devices. The memory card slot and flash are points that are missed in this device.
Samsung should however learn that small strange issues within the devices must be placed into the history soon. Issues like for instance copying your phonebook to the SIM card and the fact that you cannot use the vibrating function and ringtone at the same in each Samsung device need to be addressed. Really small things which are not addressed completely in the current line with Samsung products but do have the attention for the future.

Samsung Z400
A good example of this the new Z400. A new Samsung device that is available currently in Europe. The device offers all you need. Video calling, a 2.0 Mpixel camera, memory card slot, a good MP3 player, nice looks, adjustable themes, profiles, enz.....
All what you need is available and all small changes have been addressed. This will put the Z400 above the D600. A small item however is the absence of a good video camera. The available video camera is not that good. The Z400 is the first small UMTS slider from Samsung and also the smallest slider around with these capabilities.
On skills like UMTS and video calling there is no direct successor that has these abilities, size and looks. The device will be available in two colours. The silver version is a provider version from Vodafone and goes by the name Z400v. The black version is standard version.

Sony Ericsson K800i
The Cyber-shot phone! A statement that can only be stated by Sony Ericsson. A phone that has no opponent on user friendliness and capabilities inside a camera phone. It offers all you need in relation to the camera.
Image stabilizer, macro mode, xenon flash, 3.2 Mpixel camera, BestPic system, enz.... It is a unending list of possibilities no other camera phone can offer. The K800i should be called the easiest mobile camera phone currently on the market.
The quality of the camera is not the quality we expected. Especially the video camera is not that great and the quality of the pictures is not always what we expected to find. Some practice is still needed to use it, however it much easier to use than the LG KG920.
The K800i offers next to that several functions which are known from Sony Ericsson. The new display and menu are the final cherry on the cake and make this special device a widely appreciated product. Unfortunately, the looks and the size are not the strongest points of the new SE. You should look at the specifications and quality of it!
