HTC Gold with Windows Phone 7 probably in November

According to a British release schedule, HTC will launch a Windows Phone 7 handset in November. The new phone is said to be named HTC Gold. Unfortunately, the road map does not mention technical specifications.

These latest rumours demonstrate that Windows Phone 7 is getting the interest of smart phone manufacturers. It’s the second day with WP7 news. Yesterday, we reported about AT&T shops in the US, which possibly will sell Windows phones in September.

HTC and Windows

HTC is one of the largest manufacturers of Windows phones. At the moment, the most popular Windows phones are HD2 and HD mini. Those phones are running Windows Mobile 6.5.3, an outdated OS when compared to Android and iPhone. If the leaked road map is true, HTC is working on worthy Windows Phone 7 successors for HD2 and HD mini.
