Picture Dell smartphone with Android leaked

Computer manufacturer Dell wants to conquer the smartphone market with phones using the Android operating system. New pictures show the Dell thunder, a handset with a 4.1 inch OLED touchscreen. The new phone runs Android 2.1

Some renders of the Dell Thunder were leaked back in April. Those renders were pretty realistic, it appears now.

Big screen, large resolution

Dell seem to be playing the card of large screens. The screen of the Thunder has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. This week, an even larger handset will hit the market in the US, a 5 inch handset.

When and whether the Dell Thunder will come to Europe remains unknown. We'll follow the case and keep you informed!
