BlackBerry brings out a slider phone, names Torch 9800. It is the smartphone that has been rumoured as '9800 Slider'. The handset has the new operating system BlackBerry 6.
RIM presented the new handset yesterday in New York. The Torch 9800 has to beat high-segment smartphones, like iPhone 4, de HTC Desire and Samsung Galaxy S.

3.2 inch touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi b/g/n, BlackBerry OS 6, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB Flash, 5 megapixel camera and a 1300 mAh battery. The handset weighs 161.1 grams and measures 111 x 62 x 14.6 mm.
