First Nokia N8 handsets sent to customers

After rumours about the send-date of the Nokia N8, Nokia says that the first handset have alreaydy been sent to customers. As proof, the company gives us some pictures that show the packaging and sending of the new phone.

Last week, Dutch telecomprovider Hi said in a Tweet Nokia N8 would be delayed until November due to software problems. The delay was to be worldwide, and was subsequently denied by Nokia.

The Symbian^3-handset was demonstrated to the public at the Nokia World event in London two weeks ago, and was introduced in April. The Nokia N8 was scheduled to be available in the first weeks of October, a schedule Nokia follows strictly now.
