Samsung wants ban on Apple iPhone 4S

Samsung wants the brand new iPhone 4S to be banned before it hits the market. The Korean brand goes to court in Paris and Milan, in order to demand a ban on the new gadget form Apple
According to Samsung, the iPhone 4S infringes two patents related to WCDMA technology, which is used in the new phone. CDM is a technique that is used in some countries, for example by Verizon in the United States. The iPhone 4S is the first iPhone in which both CDMA and GSM standards are used.
The legal battle between Apple and Samsung has been going on for several months. The cases follow the same pattern: the companies are demanding a ban on the import of each other's products. Apple usually appeals to the design of the phone and its OS, while Samsung brings wireless technology into the fight.
