Approaching: new HTC Touch with WiMax?

Pictures of the new HTC device that seems to be part of the popular Touch family have been spotted. An interesting detail of the new HTC T8290 is WiMax.

WiMax is comparable with WiFi: it enables users to connect to the Internet. A big difference is that WiMax often has a better and bigger network reach than WiFi, sometimes even kilometres. WiMax is often used to supply large areas with Internet, whereas WiFi is often supplying a building or room.

The T8290 is supporting this new technique WiMax together with WiFi. The first pictures of this new device show a smarthphone with a square form with TouchFLO 3D support. The display has a WVGA resolution, that's 480 x 800 pixels. Fortunately, HTC didn't only chose for a large resolution, it has also chosen for a large display of 3.8 inch. This is the same size as the HTC Touch HD.
