Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will get pinch-to-zoom

Sony Ericssons Android flagship, the Xperia X10, will get pinch-to-zoom support, also known as multi-touch. The Japanese/Swedish manufacturer brings the upgrade after popular demand.

According to Sony Ericssons Rikard Skogberg, pinch to zoom will only be available in the browser of the Android-handset and in Google Maps. Possibly, other application can also handle Sony Ericssons implementation of pinch-to-zoom on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. The developers show that multi-touch works in Angry Birds:
