The Gmail app for iOS, which was briefly in the Apple App Store two weeks ago, is back.The bug that caused the app to be removed by Google soon after its release, has been solved.
Although the application is missing some features and settings are few, it seems that this version of the application from Gmail works better than its predecessor. The app supports, unlike the Gmail app on Android phones, only one account. Another shortcoming is the lack of support for 'banner notifications' in iOS 5.
The Gmail application for iOS works on the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad. On the iPad, the application provides a view reminiscent of the Gmail app for Android 3.2 Honeycomb or the Twitter application for the iPad. The Gmail app is available now in the App Store.
