Pictures of the new BlackBerry Pearl 9100

Behind the scenes, RIM is busy developing Blackberry Pearl's successor, Blackberry Pearl 9100. The official launch date is not yet known, but pictures are available!

Before it's official introduction, this Blackberry will be named "Stratus" or "Striker". This is what the people behind Crackberry, who discovered the pictures, found out!


As with the new Curve the trackball has been replaced with an optic indicator. Either you like this or you don't. What stayed is the SureType keyboard, which we know from the other Pearls. This makes the Blackberry Pearl 9100 nice and lean.


Other assetts of the Pearl 9100 are 3G and a flash camera. The device runs on the new Blackberry OS 5. Besides the pictures above, no more information is available about this new device by Canadian RIM.
