T-Mobile MDA Vario II opinions

Have been waiting ages for Vario II to appear under T Mobile guise after testing Vario last year. First showed up under Orange but their data plans are terrible, T Mobile Flext tariff really marries to this well as is the only sensible plan imho. Very slick device, 3g access is much more widely available than I thought. Superb for linking to MS Exchange 2003 server, only downer as per earlier Vario is that if you talk on it a bit 2-3 hrs, or use the real time email thru the day it hammers the battery pretty quickly, i.e. you will need to charge it before the next day. That said it goes for ages on standby, and its so easy to top up anywhere as it simply can plug into a laptop etc via the usb cable and sync/charge off that. Strangely the speaker for say films or sat nav is very good but when on phone hands free it seems to distort quite a bit, over all though an awesome marriage and the first truly useable pda phone that also allows you to link your laptop up to 3g broadband access when needed, superb!!

This is one of the best MDAs available on the market as far as I am aware!! But thatís just my opinion. It is smaller than I expected and the functions are great, really love the speaker on it, its louder than other phones I have had!! WiFi Feature is great, all-round I would say its great!! I would recommend getting one if you like new gadgets and want to check your e-mails on the move!! Or just browse the net!!

The only thing I would say bad about the phone and not really the phone itís the handbook that came with it, isnít as detailed as I would have likedÖ doesnít tell me much about the Blackberry Feature so if anyone knows how to sort it out and register it please let me know thanks!! Taff
