INQ presents Facebook phone

After months of rumours, INQ finally came with a phone build around facebook. The English phone manufacturer made Facebook integrated phones before, and now comes with an Android handset that does the same.

The complete Android homescreen of the Cloud Touch is filled with Facebook related content by INQ. You see the news o your friends, can watch their pictures, and have direct access to their profiles. With a 600 MHz processor, the handset is not one of the quickest on the market. The processor is just as quick as the HTC Legend, a phone that is sold for year. INQ promises to bring the Cloud Touch for an affordable price.

Not only the Cloud Touch, which has a 3.5 inch touchscreen, was launched, INQ also came with the Cloud Q, a handset wth a 2.6 inch screen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. No pictures or further specs have been announced in the press conference that was given by INQ.

Next to integration with Facebook, INQ took the concept of cloud computing even further. Spotify is the default music player on the handset, so we advise to sign up for a massive data contract if you want to use this phone.

Cooperation with Facebook

After many rumours about a Facebook phone, the INQ Cloud Touch comes as a slight disappointment. HTC was said to work on a phone in cooperation with Facebook, but that was revealed to be unjust. In the press briefing, in which this phone was announced, a Facebook employee is cited, so it seems like the American social network was involved in creating this handset.

The INQ Cloud Touch hits the market in the second quarter of this year. The Cloud Q comes in the third quarter.
