EISA awards for Samsung and Sony Ericsson


This years EISA awards for Mobile Devices go to both Samsung and Sony Ericsson for several of their mobile phones.

Every year the EISA awards are rewarded by the European Image and Sound Association; a association of magazines from 19 European countries. The award for Mobile Phones exists a couple of years now. This year both Samsung and Sony Ericsson are rewarded for some of their phones.

European Smartphone and Social Media Phone

Samsung managed to grap awards for the Galaxy S and the Wave. The Samsung Galaxy S was rewarded 'Best European Smartphone', while the Wave takes the award for 'Best Social Media Phone 2010-2011'. Not bad.

Samsung Galaxy S EISA Award

The EISA was impressed by the Galaxy S' big 4 inch touchscreen. Also its speed and the ability to upgrade to Android 2.2 Froyo was given as reason for the award. The Wave was awarded because of its high quality display and the presence of Bluetooth 3.0. Another strong point is the ability to shoot HD video (720p).

European Mobile Phone

Sony Ericsson proves once more that its done great with their Xperia X10 line-up. After the Xperia X10 won some awards of its own, this time its the Xperia X10 mini to snag an award.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini EISA Award

The EISA was impressed by the slim and stylish exterior of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini. Because of this the EISA believes the X10 mini is perfect for women.
