Today HTC announced the S740, a non-touchscreen smartphone with an unmistakably Diamond design.
The HTC S740 is the follower of the S730 and for the design HTC clearly took some ideas of the already very popular Diamond and Touch Pro. This device has, just like its follower, an extending keyboard that's hidden behind the monoblock design. The phone is available in September this year.
The phone has more than great looks. The device has some functionalities that are indispensable for the modern business man. Quick internet through 3G techniques and the use of a free WiFi network at work or even at home. The S740 has also a great display with a diagonal of 2.4 inch in QVGA resolution.
Built-in navigation
Navigation systems are made possible thanks to the built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support. The quick processor with a clock speed of 528 MHZ will surely give you a great reaction tiime. Finally, the battery has a capacity of 1000 mAh, that's almost the same as making a call of 380 minutes (through a GSM network) or 320 minutes for a quick 3G connection. The standby time is 280 hours for GSM and no less than 400 hours for a 3G network.
