HTC announced long awaited Desire Z and Desire HD

We've all been waiting for this and as a matter of fact nothing comes as a surprise; but HTC has just announced their new Desire HD and Desire Z smartphone officially in London.

To summarize the new HTC Desire HD in a couple of words; it is a HD-version of the popular Desire, while the Desire Z is as old as yesterdays news because it is an unbranded T-Mobile G2. Both devices are equipped with the renewed HTC Sense that allows to remotely wipe and find your phone.

Nothing new at the HTC Desire Z, because T-Mobile spilled all the beans with the recently announced T-Mobile G2. We knew about the 800 MHz processor, about the nice QWERTY keyboard, the WiFi n support and its impressive 3D benchmarks.

HTC Sense

Both phones come with the new and improved HTC Sense that allows to access your phone via the Internet. You can make back-ups, locate your phone and if necessary wipe your phone. Both the Desire Z and the Desire HD are expected to ship in October this year.
