HTC Wildfire S - Android 2.3.5 and Sense 2.1
HTC has released a new version of Android for the Wildfire S. This phone already ran on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and continues to do so. The Wildfire S climbes up to a higher subversion, and a slightly modified version of HTC Sense comes to your phone. The lockscreen of Sense 2.1 is based on that of Sense 3.0, which does not come to this handset. The update comes over the air. HTC brings the same Android version to two other devices, the Desire HD and the Incredible S. Unlike the Wildfire S, these devices get an update to HTC Sense 3.0, a newer version of the Android-skin of HTC. The interface is updated, and you get a new lock screen, making it possible to open an app immediately after unlocking your phone by dragging in into a ring. The update comes on the air. It is therefore recommended to download it when you are connected to a WiFi network.
