Firmware Update Friday - Week 48 2011


It's time to say goodbye to some nasty old bugs! This week a firmware update for the Samsung Galaxy Note, Galaxy S II, Galaxy Nexus, the Dell Venue Pro and HTC Sensation

Samsung Galaxy Note en Samsung Galaxy S2 - Android 2.3.6

Samsung brings an update for two Android phones, the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy S2. You will not find major new features in this update. Nevertheless, installing the update, which is offered over the air, is a must. The new version of Android brings some very welcome bug and security fixes.

Dell Venue Pro - Windows Phone 7.5 Mango

The Dell Venue Pro, gets an update to Windows Phone Mango, the latest version of Windows Phone. This provides a range of enhancements including a new notification system and multitasking. Updating can be done via the Zune software from Microsoft.

HTC Sensation - 1.50.401.1

HTC comes with an update for the Sensation . New in this version: improved drivers for the touch screen, a patch for the Qualcomm chipset, and a new version of Android Market. The update is available over the air. Once the software is ready for you, you’ll get a message on your phone.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus - ITL41F

The Samsung Nexus Galaxy had an annoying problem with the volume of calls. This was sometimes too low for a normal conversation. With a bug fix, Google solves this problem. The Android version of the device remains the same on 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich.The update comes over the air.
