The new HTC roadmap 2006 is shown into the open. The file contains some surprising new products which will hit the market before the end of this year or the beginning of next year.
The set of devices shown in the roadmap consists of the HTC Artemis, Trinity, Excalibur, Oxygen and HTC Melody (also known as HTC Muse). All new HTC devices mentioned here have Windows Mobile 5.0, Quad band mobile phone functionality, WLAN/Wifi, Bluetooth, MicroSD memory card slot and a Mini USB connection port. Furthermore specifications as a 2.0 Mpixel camera, 4 GB internal storage, build-in GPS receiver, FM radio and HSDPA connectivity can be found within this set of devices.
Next to the introduced MTeor and TyTN HTC will try to expand its market space with these new products. The main question is if HTC will succeed in the upcoming months with this set of products.
Some of the devices will have Orange, O2 and T-mobile versions as for instance the HTC Oxygen that will hit the market as Orange SPV C100. Furthermore there is a sixth device called HTC Atlantis. It will be positioned between the Melody and Excalibur, but is not yet mentioned in this set of roadmap pictures.
