Motorola leaks more information on the new SCPL and SLDR
More and more information is coming in about the new SCPL and SLDR. The expected attack from Motorola to the current market of cheaper models next to the KRZR and RIZR sets off slowly.
In the last period originating at 3GSM World congress a new phone was mentioned in a presentation by Motorola. This SCPL has become the foundation of a still ongoing wide spread disscussion around the specifications and keen slim design of the new Motorola device. A new chapter can be added to this discussion. The first official pictures of the new SCPL and SLDR are shown. The SLDR is the slider variant of the SCPL.
The device shall consist of five special characteristics that would preveal over competitors within the market. A lot of rumours started about maybe the exsistance of five special chips inside the device or an enormous amount of internal memory. But that is not true. The SCPL is just a very slim candybar device and it will also be a budgetary device.
The specifications of both devices will be not that special if you look at the current release timescale and are given below in the picture.
The expectation is that the new SCPL and SLDR will hit the market at the end of this year or the beginning of next year. Looking at the specifications this timescale is rather late, something we are familiar with. When more info is unveiled about the new device we will inform you as soon as possible.
