A foldable that you can fold not once, but twice. It should be Samsung's latest gimmick although they are not the first in this. All that remained was to find a name for the device. That search has now come to an end.
And we call it Galaxy G Fold! Why Samsung doesn't just put the device under the Galaxy Z series is beyond us. Under this name are all Samsung foldables and the letter Z also has two folds, so why bother? But who are we.

It was Huawei that first showed the world a tri-fold phone; the Mate XT. That news was accompanied by quite a bit of excitement from the public. And so Samsung could not be left behind, although it is still unclear when we will find Samsung's tri-fold phone in stores.
Announcement Galaxy G Fold
There are currently as many people claiming it will happen as early as 2025 as there are those saying precisely 2026. One announcement date that seems obvious is the fall when Samsung always announces new foldables. But whether this Galaxy G Fold will come at the same time as the Flip 7 and Fold 7 is not very obvious.
More logically, although we will see the first images during this Unpacked, the launch will be pushed over the turn of the year. A sort of "One More Thing" just as Samsung did with the first Galaxy Ring and most recently with the Galaxy S25 Edge.
