It's that time of the year again,... no, not April fools day. It's the time before June when we can speculate on the new iPhone.
Of course these images are all wishfull thinking, because niemand knows what the new iPhone looks like. Well ok, Steve Jobs will have the notion.
However, we do think this render-image is ok because it shows many similarities with the recently announced iPad. Especially the backside, which is again made of aluminum. We have to go back in time as the first iPhone had a aluminum back which was quite quickly replaced by a plastic one. Plastic is much better for letting through radiosignals then aluminum. Apparently Apple has found a way to reinstate the stylish aluminum again as the iPad does radiosignals as well.
At the moment the rumour is that the successor of the iPhone 3GS will be announced on June 22nd. We'll wait and see...
