Key specs of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 leaked
Are you wondering how thick the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be? Or how thin the Flip 7 will be when unfolded? Or maybe you just want to know what kind of camera the Fold7 will have or how much the Flip7 will weigh. We can now answer those questions for you.
On the Chinese Weibo appeared a list of the main specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 from Samsung. Here and there we heard specifications of both foldables before, but an overall picture was missing. Until now.

We now know the screen sizes and weight of both phones, as well as the cameras they will have. Here's what we know about the Fold 7:
- Thickness closed: 8.9 millimeters
- Thickness opened: 4.2 millimeters
- Weight: 215 grams
- Cover screen: 6.5 inches
- Screen size: 8.0 inches
- Main camera: 200 MP
- Selfie camera: 10MP with 100° viewing angle
- Casing: Enhanced Armor Aluminum + Glass Ceramic back
- Processor: Snapdragon 8 Mobile platform for Galaxy
If this sounds familiar to you, that may be true. Many specs match the thin Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition that came out only in Korea. It looks like the Samsung Fold 7 is a further development of that device but even thinner and intended for the rest of the world.
Galaxy Z Flip7 specs
Specifications also appeared of the vertically unfolding Samsung Flip 7. Summing them up we get;
- Thickness closed: 13.7 millimeters
- Thickness opened: 6.5 millimeters
- Weight: 188 grams
- Cover screen: 4.1 inches + 120 Hz display
- Screen size: 6.9 inches with 21:9 aspect ratio and 2600 nits
- Battery: 4300 mAh
Here we see larger screens compared to the Flip6, both inside and out. We already knew the cover screen was getting bigger but so now does the screen inside. Both screens this time have a smoother 120Hz display and a higher 2600 nits brightness. Furthermore, battery capacity goes up and thickness goes down.

What about the Flip7 FE?
Big missing one in all this is the Flip 7 FE. But we actually already know those specs. In fact, this device is a copy of the current Flip 6, but possibly with a different chipset. But always with a 3.4-inch screen outside, a 6.7-inch screen inside and a 50+12MP camera setup.
