The next Galaxy Unpacked will take place on Jan. 22, 2025. We secretly knew that already, but a confirmation was missing. We think we have it now thanks to a screenshot on X by @evleaks. Samsung is not happy and has had the image taken down.

That doesn't stop us from circling Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, large in our calendar. Why? Because information from Evan Blass is usually accurate. And we have no reason this time is any different.

There is a chance it will be a busy event. Of course, we are expecting the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra but perhaps Samsung will conjure more from the top hat. There are the S25 Slim and Project Moohan that are also being mentioned in the corridors.

Much AI

The image shows a star, often associated with AI. This is no coincidence, the event will be the launching point of One UI 7, which will be full of AI features. Those who look closer will see that the star consists of four phones. So it is not inconceivable that the thin Galaxy S25 Slim will also be announced.

Notice and take down

Samsung is not happy with all the attention. They have filed a Notice and take down with X (formerly Twitter). The original image has now been replaced with one that reads "Media not displayed."
