Motorola razr 70 ultra press renders surface, indicating upcoming launch

Earlier, CAD renders of the device appeared, and now official press renders have leaked. We're talking about the Razr 70 Ultra, Motorola's latest foldable that is likely about to be announced.

Motorola's release cycle is a reliable indicator of new introductions. The razr 60 ultra was released at the end of April 2025, so it is likely that the razr 70 ultra will follow a similar path. At the time of writing, that is just a few weeks away.

The fact that the Motorola razr 70 ultra was coming was no longer a secret. In late March, the first concrete evidence of its existence appeared when CAD renders surfaced. The press renders that have now emerged don't add much, except for the unusual colors and finishes Motorola has in store.

We see the latest foldable in a wood look (Pantone Cocoa Wood) and in purple with a suede finish (Orient Blue Alcantara). It is possible that more color options will follow.

Uncertainty about internal selfie camera

The press renders differ from the CAD drawings in one respect: the internal selfie camera is missing. While parent company Lenovo might omit the internal camera, it is more likely they will use an under-display camera. Samsung previously used these Under Display Cameras (UDC) in its Galaxy Fold series but moved away from that with the Fold 7.

Under-display cameras are not known for high image quality, but that is not a major issue with this design. The large external screen allows you to see exactly how you capture yourself with the main camera. Therefore, we cannot rule out that the internal selfie camera is missing this year.
