OnePlus 15T on Weibo: 7500mAh battery in compact design
OnePlus has posted an image on Weibo, officially revealing the design of the OnePlus 15T for the first time. The compact device is expected to deliver flagship performance. OnePlus plans to announce the device in China in March 2026, with a global launch hopefully to follow soon.
The OnePlus 15T is not OnePlus' first attempt at a compact powerhouse. The OnePlus 13T was also a compact flagship but saw a limited release in China. In other markets, it was known as the 13s, but it never launched globally.

European consumers should not expect an official release for now, as OnePlus has kept compact T models exclusive to its Chinese home market. OnePlus previously suggested a European release for the 13T, but this never materialized.
Specifications: Thinnest screen bezels and new battery tech
The OnePlus 15T promises to be a "dream phone," according to the accompanying Weibo post. It features a 6.32-inch screen with the thinnest bezels currently available. Despite its compact size, it houses a 7500 mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. Due to this high capacity, a full 0 to 100% charge will take considerably longer than the 30 minutes typical of smaller flagships.

This is made possible by new silicon-carbon battery technology currently being adopted by several Chinese brands. This technology offers higher energy density (mAh per cm3) than traditional lithium-ion batteries, allowing for a thin chassis. While major manufacturers like Apple and Samsung are waiting to implement this technology, OnePlus is moving forward. The result is significantly longer battery life without increasing device thickness.
Other specifications for the 15T include a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This Qualcomm chipset provides flagship performance, though thermal throttling in a 6.3-inch compact body is a risk under prolonged load. The camera system likely consists of a 50 MP main camera and a telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. An ultra-wide-angle camera for wide landscape shots is once again missing.
Whether it is a "dream phone" or not, the OnePlus 15T design closely resembles the 13T. While that model was well-received, it remains to be seen if consumers will appreciate the iterative design. OnePlus will announce the device in China this month. We will report on any potential European launch as information becomes available.
