The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is a compact 4G smartphone with a very colorful screen among other features. The Mi 11 Lite was released in both a 4G and a 5G version but they differ more than just this. What exactly and what the Mi 11 Lite is exactly for phone you can read here.
But let's start with the differences between this Mi 11 Lite 4G and the Mi 11 Lite 5G. To enable 5G on the latter, there is a difference in processor; the Snapdragon 732G vs the Snapdragon 780G. The latter not only offers 5G support, it is also much more powerful. On the other hand, this does come with a considerably lower price tag. There is one more big difference with its 5G brother; the selfie camera. That on this Mi 11 Lite 4G is not a 20 but a slightly lower 16 megapixels. The lens is also slightly less sensitive to light, but various reviews have not shown that the quality is significantly behind. For all other specifications, there are mainly many similarities.
To start with, there is a neat 6.55 inch screen with a bright AMOLED panel and a high Full HD + resolution. The HDR10 support that makes colors seem more real is also special. The higher refresh rate of 90Hz is also nice. This makes transitions look just a bit smoother than you are used to. In the top left corner we find a punch-hole for the selfie camera. What you won't find in the screen is a fingerprint scanner. Xiaomi has put that in the side. That's quite a handsome performance considering how thin and compact the Mi 11 Lite is. 6.81 millimeters thin and weighing just 157 grams.
On the back of the Mi 11 Lite, we find a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle and a 5MP macro camera. Personally, we are not so fan of a macro lens because more often than not it produces usable images. Xiaomi does a much better job with the relatively high resolution, which makes your photos just a bit sharper and with more detail. There is no separate zoom lens, although you can zoom 2x digitally on the main camera (Magic Zoom). The camera of the Mi 11 Lite also performs very well at night thanks to its special night mode. That mode works not only on the main camera but also on the ultra wide-angle camera. Not every phone can match that. But perhaps the best part is that the camera module does not protrude that much. Only 1.77 millimeters. So you can lay it down almost flat on a table.
