Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and 4 Pro leaked: new design and case without speaker
The full set of renders of the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro have been released online. They show the new Samsung earbuds from all sides, from all angles and in all colors. Noticeable is the lack of a built-in speaker in the case, a shortcoming for users who often lose their charging cases.
The leaked renders show a mostly gray color palette with transparent elements and black accents. But appearances can be deceiving; there will also be a white version that is not shown here.
Some renders of the Buds 4 and 4 Pro we recognize from an earlier leak. We are therefore more inclined to assume that these are genuine renders. Further on, we see some text in Spanish, possibly hinting at the origin of the material.

The Buds 4 feature an earbud design where the earpiece partially goes into the ear canal. The Buds 4 Pro feature a rubber ear tip and seal it off. This already naturally reduces ambient noise. Still, both caps are expected to have ANC active noise cancellation). This allows you to hear less ambient noise.
Case retains USB-C, but no speaker
Furthermore, we see that the case of both wireless earbuds has become more compact. In particular, they appear less tall. The more compact case suggests the use of new battery technology with higher energy density, although the exact capacity remains unconfirmed for now. We further see a USB-C connector but no speaker. This makes the case a little less easy to locate when lost.
In addition to the earbuds, the earbuds and charging case only come with a USB charging cable. Samsung supplies the Buds 4 Pro with three sizes of silicone ear tips for optimal fit and passive noise isolation. Expect an announcement simultaneously with that of the S26 Series. That will take place on Wednesday 25 February 2026 at 19:00 Central European Time.
It remains to be seen whether a new design will be enough to take on the competition. Apple is currently throwing up big bucks with its AirPods 4 with ANC. Especially the integration with iPhones is what makes these earbuds very popular. And on the other hand, there are the recently announced Sony WF-1000XM6 which also features significantly improved noise cancellation.
