Two new PebbleOS watches announced: Core 2 Duo and Core Time 2
After Google open-sourced PebbleOS, Pebble's founder has announced two new watches. These e-ink watches will be housed in a new company and will be compatible with the more than 10,000 watchfaces and apps created for PebbleOS.
They are the Core Time 2 and Core 2 Duo which are roughly based on the never-released Pebble Time 2 and Pebble 2. The former features a 1.5" 8-bit color e-ink screen, the latter a 1.2" black and white e-ink screen.

Like previous Pebble watches, the new PebbleOS watches feature always-on e-ink display with physical buttons and very long battery life for smartwatches. Core Devices claims an even longer battery life of as much as 30 days on a single charge.
Touchscreen and heart rate sensor
The larger Core Time 2 is made of metal and features a touchscreen in addition to buttons. It also features a heart rate sensor. Core Devices expects to ship the watch starting in December with an IPX8 waterproof case. The price is $225 with worldwide availability.

The Core 2 Duo of plastic is expected in July. It is priced at $149. Both watches come out in white and black and are pre-orderable as of now on Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky's website.
