Compact OnePlus phone called 13T and coming in April
There have been rumors of a compact OnePlus phone for some time. Today we learn what it is called and when it will be announced. And it turns out OnePlus has chosen a recognizable name.
Because the compact OnePlus is going to be called the OnePlus 13T. With this, OnePlus is breathing new life into the -T models. This naming convention was previously used for slightly more affordable models but has not been used for the past three years. The last OnePlus -T was the OnePlus 10T from 2022.

Whether this also means that the OnePlus 13T is less powerful than the OnePlus 13 remains to be seen. We may get an answer to that soon. After all, the stated launch date is April. The message comes from OnePlus China calling the device "small, beautiful and powerful."
Hopefully not an April 1 joke
Now it's April 1 so we'll stay a beat for now, and recommend you do the same. After all, we can't find the original message from OnePlus anywhere, but our Chinese isn't very good either. According to rumors, the little 13T will feature a 6.3" screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite and an impressively large 6200 mAh battery.
Earlier, OnePlus revealed that it was working on a successor to the Alert Slider. This button allows you to easily set a OnePlus phone to silent, sound or vibrate. OnePlus wants to replace it with a more customizable button, although it is still unclear exactly what it will look like. It is also unclear whether the button will make its debut on the 13T or whether OnePlus is waiting for the OnePlus 14.
