JK Chin: Samsung Galaxy S III in the first half of 2012

JK Chin, CEO of Samsung, has confirmed that the company is working on a successor to the Galaxy II S, which surprisingly will be called Samsung Galaxy S III. The device comes in 2012.

With the global launch of the Samsung Galaxy S II fresh in mind, Samsung looks to the future. There was a year between the launch of the Galaxy S and the Galaxy S II, so it was expected that Samsung would come with a new Android flagship Android. Nevertheless, it is surprising that the CEO of Samsung is already making statements about this device.

Tablets

In the same statement, Chin discussed the future of tablets of the Korean brand. Samsung sticks with Android as OS for tablets, as alternatives are scarce. In summer, the company will launch a 4G tablet. This is especially interesting for countries where 4G infrastructures exists, such as the United States, Japan and Korea.
