The new clamshell from Sony Ericsson shall be introduced to the world in the upcoming months. The device shall be the first within the new series of Emotional design products.
The expectance is that the new MIYU - the codename of the Z610i - will be delivered in several colors. The specifications of the new SE device will be comparable to the K610i. The device consists of a 2.0 Mpixel camera without auto focus and flash, UMTS, videocalling, Memory Stick Micro (M2) memory card slot which can handle cards up to 1 GB, Bluetooth with stereo A2DP audio profile, XHTML browser, MP3 player, flight mode, SMS, MMS and a 262.144 colors TFD display. The external screen of the new Z610i is an OLED screen with a resolution of 128 x 36 pixels. There is also support for USB 2.0 mass storage in the new clamshell.
