What should you look for in an Oppo Find X?
The Find X series is Oppo’s most expensive and best-equipped lineup. Expect a large OLED screen, a top-of-the-line chip, a battery capacity well over 7,000 mAh, and a camera system fine-tuned in collaboration with camera brand Hasselblad. That comes with a flagship price tag: new Find X models cost around 1,000 euros, and the Ultra model is significantly more expensive. The current prices are listed in the overview above.

Which generation should you choose?
The latest generation is the Find X9 series: the Find X9 and the larger Find X9 Pro were released in October 2025, while the Find X9 Ultra arrived in Europe in May 2026 with a suggested retail price of 1,699 euros. If you want the most value for your money, check out the previous generation. As soon as a new Find X is released, the prices of the previous models drop significantly, while you’ll hardly notice any compromise in terms of screen quality, speed, and battery life.
Hasselblad camera: what’s the point?
Oppo fine-tunes the cameras in the Find X series in collaboration with Hasselblad, and that partnership is still ongoing: the 2026 Find X9 Ultra features a Hasselblad Master Camera System with four lenses. In practice, you’ll notice this most in the color reproduction and portrait modes that mimic the look of Hasselblad lenses. Don’t expect miracles from the brand name alone, though, because the sensors and image processing do the real work. The series’ strongest point is the zoom: the Find X9 Pro shoots with a 200-megapixel telephoto lens, while many competitors are stuck at 50 megapixels. Find X or Reno: What’s the Difference?
The Find X is Oppo’s flagship model, while the Reno is its mid-range model. Both series share the same software and a similar design, but the Find X has a faster chip, a better zoom lens, and a brighter screen.
Choose a Find X if you want the best camera and the fastest chip and the price tag isn’t an issue.
Choose a Reno if you’re looking for a slim phone with a great camera at a significantly lower price.
What you’ll be sacrificing
A flagship isn’t automatically the best choice. Keep these points in mind before you order.
- Price: a new Find X can easily cost over a thousand euros. If you’re looking for the same experience for less money, the Reno series is the logical choice.
- Size and weight: the Find X9 Ultra weighs around 235 grams. You’ll definitely feel that in your pocket. If you want something more compact, check out compact smartphones.
- Updates: For the Find X9 Ultra, Oppo promises five Android versions and six years of security updates. That’s decent, but Samsung and Google go further with their top models.
- Availability: Not every Find X model is coming to the Netherlands. For some generations, only part of the series is available here.
Foldable or refurbished as an alternative
If you’re looking for something other than a classic flagship within Oppo’s lineup, the Find N series is the brand’s foldable line. If you want a top-of-the-line model without the full retail price, check out refurbished phones: professionally inspected devices from the previous generation, often hundreds of euros cheaper.
