Folding Motorola razr 3 seen in video

Although images of the razr 3 are not unique, a video is. As far as we know, it is the first time that a video of the upcoming razr 3 has surfaced. And it tells quite a lot.

The images appeared on the Twitter timeline of @evleaks. We see a large screen with what appears to be a fair amount of space above the screen. And that's despite the punch-hole for the selfie camera. But then it gets interesting; the user folds the device in half. It turns out to be the razr 3 with codename "Maven".

As far as we know, these are the first moving images of the Motorola razr 3. And for that, we are grateful to @evleaks because we also get our first look at the screen. When folded, the device looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. A rather angular design with two cameras. We've seen that before.

Powerful processor

By the way, Lenovo was early with its own foldable. It repurposed the wafer-thin razr phones for this purpose. And despite the rather mediocre specs, the device did appeal to a purchase-conscious target group. Whether they appreciate the renewed design remains to be seen. Lenovo wants to use the just-announced Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1. Qualcomm expects the first phones with this chipset in the third quarter of 2022.
