We know what the upcoming Motorola edge 40 Pro will look like even before it has been announced. All thanks to renders by @onleaks that appeared at MySmartPrice.
This is not the first time we have been presented with images of an unannounced phone, thanks to @onleaks. However, this time it is the Motorola edge 40 Pro we get to admire early. The back does not look very similar to that of its predecessor, the edge 30 Pro, but it does resemble the edge 30 Ultra. That says something about which direction Lenovo is heading with its design.
The source of the images writes that the Motorola edge 40 Pro will get a curved 6.67-inch screen, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a 5000 mAh large battery. On the back, we see a triple camera system with presumably a 50 + 50 + 12MP setup. Interestingly, Lenovo uses the most megapixels on the front; the selfie camera will have a large 60MP resolution. At least if the rumors are true.
edge 40 Pro launch
The device will not be released everywhere as the Motorola edge 40 Pro. In some countries, it will be called the Moto X40 Pro. It is the same device, though. The launch will probably happen sometime in December 2022, but only in China. The rest of the world is likely to follow somewhere in 2023.
