Take control of your monthly expenses

Buying a phone outright can really put a dent in your budget. A phone with a plan spreads out those costs, so you can get even the most expensive flagship models right away without breaking the bank. With us, you’ll see not only the major carriers but also the budget providers.

Why comparing through us pays off:

  • Exclusive online deals: Often cheaper than buying directly from the provider.
  • All-in-one overview: Filter by data, call minutes, and maximum one-time additional payment.
  • Check for combo discounts: Do you already have home internet? Check this box and see your extra discount right away (double data or a discount on your bill).

iPhone or Android: Which side are you on?

Choosing a phone often starts with the operating system. Are you a loyal Apple fan, or do you swear by the freedom of Android?

  • Apple iPhone with a plan: If you choose iOS, you’re choosing long-term value, privacy, and seamless integration with your other Apple devices. The iPhone 16 and 17 series currently dominate the market with their powerful chips and cameras.
  • Samsung Galaxy with a plan: The king of Android. From the affordable A series to the high-end S25 Ultra. Samsung often offers the best displays and extensive customization options.

Keep an eye on the 5G-ready future

Virtually every new device in our comparison tool supports 5G. Even if you don’t have a 5G plan yet, it’s smart to choose a device that’s 5G-ready. That way, you’ll be prepared for the future and enjoy more stable internet in crowded areas.

BKR and Device Financing: Honest Advice

For several years now, a cell phone plan where you pay off the device has been considered a loan. This is called device financing.

Is the device portion of your plan more than €250? If so, this will be registered with the BKR. This can affect the maximum mortgage you can qualify for. Do you want to avoid this?

  1. Choose a less expensive phone (under €250).
  2. Pay part of the phone’s cost upfront (the one-time down payment) so that the loan amount stays below €250. Our comparison tool shows you exactly how to set this up.

Why 250,000+ people compare here

We’re not a provider; we’re a price comparison site. That means we have only one goal: to show you the absolute lowest price. We gather offers from all retailers and all providers (KPN, Odido, and Vodafone).

100% independent

We don’t favor any provider or online store. The cheapest option is at the top. Period.

Real-time updates

Prices sometimes change by the hour. We update continuously so you never click on a 'dead' deal.

Expert reviews

We test many phones ourselves. No sales pitches—just honest experiences about battery life and camera quality.

You’ll buy your next phone with a plan from us—not from other comparison sites—because we update prices every hour, every day, and we don’t feature sponsored listings that earn us more but cost you more. Curious about our business model? Read more about it on our About page.

Step-by-Step Guide: Find the Perfect Match in 3 Clicks

There’s no such thing as the “best” plan, but there is the best plan for you. Use this step-by-step guide to see the forest for the trees.

1. Choose your network (Coverage vs. Speed)

In the Netherlands, we have three major networks. Virtual providers (such as Simyo or Ben) operate on these networks.

  • KPN network
Known for its excellent nationwide coverage and stability. (Providers: KPN, Simyo, Lebara).
  • Odido network
Often the fastest 5G connection and competitive unlimited data plans. (Providers: Odido, Ben, Simpel).
  • Vodafone network
Strong in the business market and good coverage in the city. (Providers: Vodafone, hollandsnieuwe).

2. Be realistic about your data usage

Don’t pay for nothing. Check your current usage in your provider’s app.

  • < 5 GB
For the Wi-Fi surfer. You send a few messages and check the news.
  • 10 GB – 20 GB
The average user. You stream music (Spotify) and occasionally watch a video on the go.
  • Unlimited
For the power user. You stream Netflix on the train, use your laptop as a hotspot, and never want to check your data usage.

3. Take advantage of your customer benefits (Combo Deal or Kids)

This is the easiest way to save money. Do you already have home internet from Ziggo, KPN, or Odido?

  • Ziggo at home?
Check out Vodafone deals for double data and discounts.
  • KPN at home?
Choose KPN or Simyo for extra benefits.
  • Odido at home?
Combine with Odido mobile for the “Customer Discount.”

In addition to discounts for existing customers, there are sometimes also discounts for:

  • Discounts for young adults
Vodafone Young for adults between 18 and 28 years old
  • Benefits for children up to 12 years old
KPN Kids up to 12 years old
  • Benefits for children between 12 and 17 years old
KPN Teens for ages 17 and under

You can find these plans by selecting any phone and, when choosing a plan, clicking the checkbox labeled “Kids Discount” or “Young Discount.” Be sure to read the terms and conditions carefully first to see if you’re eligible.

No surprises: Your bill broken down

When you sign up for a phone with a plan, your monthly payment consists of two parts. It’s important to understand this distinction:

  • Part 1: The Plan (simonly portion)
These are the costs for your call minutes, text messages, and data. This amount is fixed.
  • Part 2: The Device Payment Plan (The Installment Plan)
This is the installment plan for your phone. Once your contract expires (after 1 or 2 years), this part ends and you’ll only pay for your plan.

Note the one-time fees: In addition to the monthly fee, you’ll often pay a one-time activation fee (to the provider) and a statutory home copying levy (approximately €5.70). Sometimes providers also charge a one-time additional fee for the device to lower the monthly payment.
