Why a plan is often more affordable than buying a phone outright

Please note: if you choose a device bundle costing more than €250, this is considered a loan and will result in a BKR registration. Want to avoid this? Then pay a portion of your iPhone’s cost upfront when you sign up for your plan, so the outstanding “loan amount” stays below €250.
