Samsung Galaxy S26 launch date revealed by leaked Unpacked invitation
The launch date of the Galaxy S26 series has already been mentioned, and images of the phones have also been leaked, but now even the invitation is leaking. This is not usual and might be a reason for Samsung to send the invitations in a short time.
The image of the invitation, part of which is blurred, appeared on Evan Blass' timeline. His information appears to be historically accurate; therefore, we consider this leak reliable. Especially since Blass previously mentioned the date shown on the invitation.

We note "February 25, 2026." The date when Samsung will in all likelihood make the S26 Series official. That same date was previously mentioned by insider Ice Universe and then "confirmed" by @evleaks via a tweet. With this, the invitation serves as a final confirmation rather than a surprise.
In addition to Galaxy S26 family, Galaxy Buds4 earbuds are also expected
During the event, the vanilla Galaxy S26, the S26+ and the S26 Ultra are expected to be released. Earlier rumors spoke of an S26 Pro and S26 Edge but those plans appear to have been canceled, presumably due to disappointing sales of the Edge variant in the Galaxy S25 series. In addition to new Galaxy S phones, new earbuds are also expected at the event: the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro.
Now that the invitation may have leaked, there is little reason for Samsung to wait to send it out. We therefore expect the official invitation in the mail soon, possibly today. If we see the same picture then, which would not surprise us at all, then we are sure Even Blass was right.
Earlier leaked selling price S26 models
In the last week of January, expected European prices of the S26 models also appeared. Via a Swedish webshop, WinFuture noted that the S26 Ultra may get a price cut. Thus, the starting price may drop below the 1400 euro mark. In contrast, the S26 and S26+ would become about 20% more expensive.
The price increase is presumably due to the increased cost of LPDDR memory chips. These chips provide the bandwidth needed for local AI processing, but face scarcity due to explosive demand in the tech sector. If the rumors are true, Samsung will pass on the higher procurement costs directly to the end user. Remarkable, as previously there were rumors that rival Apple would take care of the memory price increase.
