Samsung has increased the prices of the Galaxy A57, A37, A27, and A17 5G in the United States. This follows the Galaxy S26 series increasing in price by 100 euros in the Netherlands just one day earlier. While Samsung has not yet announced a price increase for the affordable A-series in the United States, the trend is clear: Galaxy phones are becoming more expensive worldwide.
After we showed the first images of the Fairbuds 2 in September, Fairphone announced the wireless earbuds. Although they have not yet been officially unveiled, they are expected to sound even better.
Samsung has announced the Galaxy SmartTag 3, but the reasoning behind its design is unclear. For the first time, the tracker is compatible with iPhones, which already have a great alternative in the AirTag. Pixel, Xiaomi, and Motorola device owners still cannot use it. The Netherlands will have to wait until at least 2027.
The first CAD renders of the Pixel 11a have leaked, and those familiar with the Pixel 10a will notice few differences: once again, there are two cameras that sit nearly flush with the back. It remains unclear whether there will be more internal changes: the currently circulating specifications come from only one source.

Honor announced the Magic9 Pro Max in China, along with the standard Magic9 and Magic9 Super Edition models. The top-of-the-line model focuses entirely on video and photography. Honor collaborated with the German film camera manufacturer ARRI on the camera system, equipping it with two 200-megapixel rear cameras. Although a European launch has been confirmed, Honor has not yet disclosed the release date or pricing.
Xiaomi has announced the Xiaomi 18 Pro and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. Both models feature a large display on the back. Unlike the Xiaomi 17 Pro, Xiaomi has confirmed that the new models will be launched outside of China. You will be able to purchase the devices here with a warranty and without the hassle of an import process. However, there does seem to be a trade-off: the European version will likely have a smaller battery.
As announced, Lenovo unveiled the Motorola Edge 20 Pro on September 22 during the Snapdragon Summit, one of the first phones to feature Qualcomm’s new flagship chip. While the first Signature model from January had to make do with a slightly lower-tier chip, its successor is all about speed. Motorola is keeping the price under wraps for now.
Today, Oppo unveiled the Find X10 Pro Max, the standard Find X10, and the Find X10 Lite in China. The top-of-the-line model features three 200-megapixel cameras: a main camera, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens. Oppo has confirmed that the series will be released outside China, though a release date and price for the Netherlands have not yet been announced. This brings us to the question that accompanies such specs: As a buyer, will you actually benefit from this?
CMF, Nothing’s budget brand, is striking out on its own. The brand is becoming an independent company headquartered in India. The Indian manufacturer Optiemus is acquiring a 51.1 percent majority stake in the company. Nothing will remain a shareholder but will no longer be involved in day-to-day management. What will this mean for owners of the CMF Phone 2 Pro, and why is a British brand selling off its least expensive division?
Vivo has announced the X500 series in China, consisting of the X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max. The brand is skipping the X400 and moving straight to a 2nm chip, 8,000mAh batteries, and a 200MP Zeiss telephoto lens. Sounds too good to be true? There is one important caveat for the Netherlands: the cheapest model will not be available here. The big question is whether the massive battery will actually make it to Europe.
The Motorola Signature was announced earlier this year, and its parent company, Lenovo, now believes the time is right for a successor. In that short time, the Signature seems to have reached adolescence. Anyone looking at the back of the Signature 27 will notice the abundance of cameras.
