What is refurbished and is it right for you?

Refurbished means a previously used or returned phone has been professionally inspected: parts are tested, worn components replaced, data wiped and the phone cosmetically refreshed. The result works like new but costs less.

The big difference from second-hand: with second-hand you buy from a private seller, without any inspection or warranty. Refurbished comes from a professional seller and always includes a warranty.

As good as new

Little to no signs of use. At arm's length, indistinguishable from new. The highest grade, the smallest saving.

Light signs of use

Small scratches you'll barely notice in everyday use. The happy medium between price and looks.

Visible signs of use

Clear scratches or dents on the outside. Fully functional, the biggest saving for those who don't mind the looks.
