Samsung removed Air Actions from the S Pen with the arrival of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Fans of the early days are angry and have started a petition asking for the return of Bluetooth in the pen.
It is still unclear whether Samsung is sensitive to the criticism. According to the company, the S Pen's wireless functionality was hardly used. Only 1% of users used it. That remaining 1% is now calling for the return of Bluetooth in the pen in a petition.

Something that won't be possible until 2026 at the earliest. Although it remains to be seen whether Samsung is sensitive to this request. It makes the pen more complex and susceptible to malfunctions. It will also factor in the additional cost. Earlier there was confusion about a separately available S Pen with Bluetooth functionality, but that turned out to be a mistake on Samsung's own website.
Apartially available S Pen with Bluetooth?
It is also unlikely that a separate S Pen with Bluetooth functionality will be released for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The pen was charged in the S24 Ultra and that requires hardware, something the S25 Ultra simply does not have. So it is not a matter of a software update.
Meanwhile, the petition is not running fast. At the time of writing, the counter stood at less than 3,000 signatures. Signing along can be done at change.org. Buyers of the S25 Ultra don't seem to mind the lack of Air Actions. In South Korea, of all the S25 models, the S25 Ultra was by far the most ordered; up to 70%.
