Samsung officially announced the Galaxy S25 Series including this S25+ during Galaxy Unpacked 2025. The device is mostly about Galaxy AI improvements; the smart software suite to make life easier. But there are also some hardware improvements.
Funnily enough, the two go hand in hand. One is the new Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip. This power source is needed to perform all AI functions quickly and locally. But even without AI, the Galaxy S25+ feels blazingly fast, and so you'll also benefit from it during everyday use.

Wireless charging is faster this time thanks to the Qi2 standard. Charging can therefore be done with up to 25W, instead of 15W, provided you buy a compatible charger. Even faster charging can be done wired, that is with up to 45W, just like last year. And so is the battery capacity (4900mAh), the display (QHD+, 2600nits) and the cameras (50+12+10MP).
Gorilla Glass Armor for less screen reflection
With that, even we have to admit that of the trio, the S25+ is the least worth upgrading. Unless you consider Gorilla Glass Armor. Samsung debuted this type of screen from Corning last year with the S24 Ultra, and it provides significantly less screen reflection.
Galaxy AI
What is new, however, are the many additional Galaxy AI features. Among these are things like Morning Brief and Evening Brief that notify you of everything to start and end your day. And AI features to enhance video and selfies like Night Video with Audio Eraser and AI Selfie.

You can preorder the Samsung Galaxy S25+ as early as today. Samsung will start February 5 delivery. It will do so in models with 256 and 512GB of storage and in the colors dark blue, light blue, green and gray. Prices start from €1159.
