POCO has officially announced the X7 series. There is the entry-level X7 and the more elaborate X7 Pro although even for the latter you don't have to go very deep into the pocket.
POCO has shopped MediaTek for both the X7 and X7 Pro. The former is equipped with a Dimensity 7300-Ultra + 5110 mAh battery while the latter gets a Dimensity 8400-Ultra + 6000 mAh battery. In terms of screen, both phones sit on a 6.67-inch CrystalRes display with a 1.5K resolution.
The panel of the X7 Pro may be a bit brighter at 3200 nits but both support Dolby Vision with smooth 120Hz playback. Interestingly, the X7 Pro is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i while the X7 gets the more expensive Victus 2.

There is also a difference on the camera front. On the back of the POCO X7 Pro is a 50MP main camera with f/1.5 lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. We find that same offering on the POCO X7 but there is another 2MP macro lens on top.
Both phones run Xiaomi's HyperOS operating system with only the X7 Pro coming with the newer HyperOS 2. Expect both phones to hit stores starting Jan. 17. Prior to that, POCO is holding a promotion where you get €50 off the starting price.
That starting price for the POCO X7 starts at €249.90, for the POCO X7 Pro it starts at €369.90. For this, both get you 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Both phones come out in three colors; black, green and yellow for the X7 Pro and silver, green and black for the X7.
