Samsung presents Galaxy Pro
What to do if you want to get business-users tot the Android platform? Than you bring a candybar handset with full keyboard and touchscreen. This is the Samsung Galaxy Pro.
We have no full spec list yet, but this is said to be a handset running Android Froyo (2.2), with a 800 MHz processor and WiFi support. The screen is touchsensitive, and measures 2.8 inch. It sounds small, but remember that a standard BlackBerry screen is only 2.5 inch.
With its premium look, the handset has a business like feel. According to a short movie that was supllied by British carrier Three, the handset has a longer lasting battery, due to Samsung Social Hub, having less services to be checked, and thus saving battery.
It remains unknown when this phone will come to Europe, pricing details are absent as well.
