Nothing announces CMF Phone 2 Pro with 2x camera zoom
CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, has officially unveiled the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Compared to the first CMF Phone 1, the device gets an extra camera on the back and a faster processor inside. The removable back and the ability to fit accessories have remained.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro looks like a true Nothing phone and looks like the natural successor to the CMF Phone 1. The extra camera on the back makes it a bit more Pro according to Nothing and therefore justifies the -Pro addition to the name.

The camera offering comes out to a 50MP main camera with larger 1/1.57" sensor, a 50MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom and an 8MP ultra-wide angle with 119.5° wide viewing angle. The selfie camera has remained almost the same with a 16MP large sensor. Image quality should be even better thanks to the TrueLens Engine 3 by cleverly applying AI.
Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G chipset
Inside the CMF Phone 2 Pro we find a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro with 8GB of RAM memory and the choice of 128 or 256GB of storage. The whole thing runs under Nothing OS 3.2 which is based on Android 15. Nothing promises 3 years of Android upgrades and 6 years of security updates.
Essential Key
To the right of the device is now the Essential Key; a shortcut key for capturing content that is then automatically organized thanks to AI. Press once to capture content on your screen, and hold to record voice messages. You'll then find it in Essential Space.

As with the CMF Phone 1, you can remove the back and insert accessories such as a card holder or lanyard. Nothing also has interchangeable lenses for the camera this time around such as one with a fisheye or macro lens.
The Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro is available from €249 for the model with 8+128GB of memory and €279 for the model with 8+256GB. Those who buy a copy before May 5 will receive the CMF Buds 2 worth €49.95 as a free gift with it. For now, sales are limited to only the Nothing website itself.
