Nothing reports arrival of CMF Phone 2

Nothing says it is working on a successor to the CMF Phone 1 and that it is coming soon. We even get a peek at the back already. But what exactly are we looking at?
Nothing is known for its busy back covers. They are partially transparent, underlying components are outlined and things like the coils for wireless charging are just visible. It makes the designs unique and playful. With the CMF Phone 1, it was a little less so, but its bright colors didn't make it any less playful.
Whether the same holds true for the CMF Phone 2 remains to be seen. The teaser released by Nothing shows so much that we are getting a bit overwhelmed by it. The fact is that we only see one camera, while the CMF Phone 1 still had two.

Coming soon. CMF by Nothing
In addition to the teaser, Nothing reports that the device is coming soon and will be made by Nothing. Also, Nothing hints that the device is good at shooting good photos. That is not quite consistent with the single camera we see on the teaser. Perhaps Nothing is trying to create confusion. Previous CAD renders showed that the device has three cameras. The camera that Nothing shows above would be the third (smaller) camera.
We'll have to wait and see what Nothing comes up with before we know for sure. It is hoped that the Phone 2 will also feature an interchangeable back just like CMF's Phone 1. That allows users to swap out the back for one with a stand or a different color. This modularity also allows you to pair accessories such as a card holder.
